Who we are

Petiza Studio ("we") is the controller of the data you give us at petiza.studio. Legal name, address and registration number: [pending]. Privacy contact: hola@petiza.studio.

What data we process

• Order data: your email, the story you chose, and the name, age and relationship of the person starring in it, plus any details and ending line you write.
• Photos: 1 to 3 photos of the person starring in the story. They may show their face, which we process only to create their character.
• Payment: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we receive the payment confirmation, amount and country.
• Film newsletter: your email, if you subscribe.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP, browser, time) for security. We use no advertising cookies.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To make and deliver your story, handle your revision and answer your questions: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Photos and the person's face are used only for their story, with your consent and that of the person or whoever represents them (Art. 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it before delivery by writing to us.
• Invoicing and legal duties: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Film newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw in every email.
• Security and fraud prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Photos of children

If a minor appears in the photos, we only accept the order from their parent or legal guardian, who confirms this when ordering. We never ask children for data or open accounts for them. A child's photo is used only for their story, seen only by the team members who make it, and deleted with everything else 15 days after delivery. If you think we received a photo without proper permission, write to us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

• Photos, character references and the final video: deleted 15 days after delivery. The download link works for those 15 days; save the video to your device. If you ask for a revision, the 15 days start again when we send the new version.
• Download link: it is personal, expires when the files are deleted, and we only keep an encrypted fingerprint of it, never the link itself. If you lose it, we send a new one, always to the email you paid with.
• Photos that never become a paid order: deleted within 2 days.
• Order and billing data: as long as tax law requires.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Never used for training

We do not use your photos, order data or videos to train or improve artificial intelligence models, ours or anyone else's. We choose providers who commit to the same by contract.

Who we share it with

Only with providers we need to deliver the service, under data processing agreements: payments (Stripe), hosting and storage, email delivery and the animation services we use to make the story. Full list: [pending]. We do not sell data.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to hola@petiza.studio. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its date and, if the change is significant, we let you know by email.
